We are pleased to announce the winner of our second annual Young Entrepreneurs Grant. The Grant scheme was established to encourage budding entrepreneurs up to the age of 25 in East Anglia. The 2014 Nurture Young Entrepreneurs Grant recipient is Munim Sikder who is launching the first Shisha lounge in Norwich with the ambition to roll out the concept throughout Europe.

Munim will benefit not only from ongoing mentoring by Simon Linstead but £1,000 to help boost his business.

Simon Linstead, who is Managing Director and founder of Nurture Financial Planning, reflected on the time he met Munim: "Munim caught my eye because of the passion he has for his idea and concept. He has a great work ethic. A lot of people have ideas and never do anything with them. It was quite clear from the first time I met Munim, that he had already put a great deal of work into the idea and continues to do so. He has a real belief that he is going to succeed and convinced me that the business, which is called The Nest Shisha and Desert Lounge, is going to work. So we are delighted to award the Nurture Grant to him."

Munim remarked: "I first had a different idea of going into graphics and web design. But then I realised that there was too much competition and so I have created something that Norfolk does not have, Shisha lounges. I have built the foundations and structure for the business with Simon's help and am now actively looking for street front premises in Norwich and need a cafe area with a courtyard or back garden.
